I have been in the counseling field, for more than 20 years and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. As a Hakomi graduate, SoulCollage® Facilitator, with training and experience in the Expressive Arts, a background as a clinical Hypnotherapist and extensive training in many different disciplines of therapy, I bring a multi-modal approach, integrating what is needed for the specific client. Dance has been a part of my life for more than 25 years; I have performed dance for 10 of those years and recognize the power of creativity and the arts to assist in healing one's soul. My intention is to offer my clients the opportunity to have a place they can go, to explore their deepest dreams and desires, as well as inspire a willingness to make the internal changes which can provide an opening to bring more peace, harmony, passion and joy in their lives.

In my work, as a therapist, I use a psychodynamic and integrative approach, which can include use of the arts in the therapy process and body-centered psychotherapy. The special areas of focus, in my practice are life transitions, cross-cultural issues, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss and relationship concerns. I work with individuals and couples, from ages 19 and beyond, including mid-life and senior age groups. I prefer to see clients in person, in my office and offer phone consultation, as well. I believe in working in a collaborative manner, so that together we can discover the most effective ways to address concerns and interpersonal challenges.
