I have been licensed as a marriage and family therapist since 2001. My background includes work with children, families, and schools, focusing on emotional, learning, and academic issues. Prior to licensing, I volunteered for a number of years with Suicide Prevention and Community Counseling, working with people facing grief and loss.

Currently, I work with people aged 18 and up. Many of the life issues that clients bring focus on anxiety, depression, relationships, communication, family, and work concerns and transitions. I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking deeper self-knowledge and have a desire for self-healing.

My style of working is conversational and relational, with an approach where comfort and safety are present to enhance the process of better understanding oneself. Somatic tools are shared in sessions as needed, which can increase the ability to better understand ourselves through our reactions and responses in the moment. I welcome a phone or video conversation to see if working together would be helpful.
