I’m a credentialed spiritual mentor practicing in Marin County since 1999, working with people of various faith traditions and spiritual philosophies. Leading spirituality groups, classes and retreats, and accompanying individuals on their spiritual journey is a great joy.
I will listen to the themes of your life, and guide you in reflection that brings your innate wisdom forward, especially during times of life path discernment. I can offer spiritual practices that lead to inspired work, play, relationships and service. Always respectful of your journey and path, I customize my approach based on your interests and preferences. We can meet in person (my preference if possible) or by Zoom or Skype. Feel free to call and we can see if we are good match.
I little more about me –
I’ve served with the ICC since its founding and currently am president of its board. I also practice through the Pacific Center of Spiritual Formation. I was on-call staff at the Lloyd Pastoral Counseling Center at San Francisco Theological Seminary from 2000-2007. Currently, I am an interfaith clergy leader affiliated with the Marin Interfaith Council and the Marin Organizing Committee, and am a Trustee for the Marin Community Foundation’s Buck Family Fund. I recently retired as pastor of First Presbyterian Church of San Rafael, a church dedicated to social inclusion and contemplative practice. Previously, I worked as a business executive and non-profit consultant. I have a Masters of Divinity degree, a graduate Diploma in the Art of Spiritual Direction from SFTS, and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
