North Bay Jung Group
As a Jungian Adult and Child/Adolescent Analyst, I specialize in depth-oriented psychotherapy with adults, teens and children. I am attuned to symbols, images, dreams, and play as important to the therapy process. Licensed as a psychotherapist since 1994, I focused my training and practice on the intersection of the arts and psychotherapy, completing certifications as a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist and a Teaching Member of the International Society for Sandplay Therapy. I have worked clinically with children and adolescents in day treatment, school, treatment center, therapeutic camp and clinic settings. My experience with young people directly informs my work with adults of all ages, who constitute much of my depth psychotherapy practice. I work relationally, creatively, and with respect for each individual. I enjoy working with adults negotiating midlife and beyond, re-evaluating past patterns, making meaning of their lives, and reconnecting with the Self on the soul level.
I have published in the Arts in Psychotherapy Journal, the Journal of Sandplay Therapy, and Jung Journal: Culture & Psyche, among others. I present nationally and internationally on the integration of Jungian concepts, sandplay, and the arts in therapy, and am on the faculty of both the Analytic and the Infant, Child and Adolescent Training programs at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, as well as the Jungian Sandplay Training program at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Art with an emphasis in Directing from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy from John F. Kennedy University. After many years of practice centered in the East Bay, my office is now based in San Anselmo
