I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose work focuses on adults (including young adults 17-25) and couples. I have 14 years experience as a clinician including 10 years as a licensed MFT.
I use many different tools to facilitate change, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for symptom relief, and the techniques and processes of Hakomi, a body-centered depth psychotherapy, which integrates western psychology, advances in neurobiology, and the mindfulness practices of Buddhist Meditation. I believe that decreasing unhealthy stress, restoring trust in relationships, and changing self-limiting belief systems can lead to transformation. I use a warm, friendly, and engaged style of therapy.
