I am a retired psychologist and Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. I worked in psychotherapeutic practice, in various settings, for more than 40 years. I have written a few books, particularly on loss, grief, and addictions, and I served as Professor of Pastoral Counseling at San Francisco Theological Seminary for ten years.
